Ministry Title:	Prayer Shawl Ministry

Ministry Purpose:	In order to reach people with the love of Jesus Christ, the Prayer Shawl ministry reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace. Specifically: To be a praying ministry not only for those that are receiving the shawls, but to deepen our own prayer life and relationship with God. To continue to hold each other and those in need of comfort and prayer To reach out and touch those in need of comfort in our congregation and community with a tangible symbol of God’s love. Knits or crochets prayer shawls for those in need of comfort and prayer.

This ministry relates to:	Care & Prayer Team - Prayer
This ministry meets:	First and third Monday, except holiday Mondays.
Training provided:	Yes.
Time Commitment:	To finish one shawl, it depends on how experienced the person is. This ministry produces approximately one shawl per person, per month.
